Ternopil State Medical University was founded on April 12, 1957 in the city of Ternopil. After World War II, the university was founded on the rubble by order of the Ukrainian government and renamed as Ternopil Medical Institute.
The institute was named after Ivan Horbachevsky on 1 July 1992 to honor his contributions to medicine, especially biochemistry. The institute was granted the status of a State Medical Academy and was renamed I. Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical Academy on July 30, 1997.
The institution was recognized with the title of State Medical University on November 17, 2004 and was recognized by I.H. Ternopil State Medical University.
TSMA obtained the fourth level of accreditation from the Government of Ukraine and is one of the leading medical universities in Ukraine. More than 1,500 students from approximately 50 different countries are currently enrolled in the university.

4. Copy of international passport or other identity document (passport must be valid for at least 2 years)

8. A round-trip ticket with a return date is open for one year (on arrival).

Eligibility Criteria: For MBBS Course at Ternopil State Medical University
To study MBBS at Ternopil State Medical University, the following admission criteria apply: -
1. The nationality of the students should be "Indian".
2. All the candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology for 2 consecutive years at the level of 10+2 with English as the medium of study.
3. The candidate must have passed in subjects like Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English individually and must have secured minimum marks in the qualifying examination in the same subject.
4. Candidates must be of 17 years of age before 31st December of the year of admission.
5. Candidates must have qualified NEET exam.
