About the lviv National Medical University

Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University is a medical university in Lviv. It was formerly called the Lviv State Medical Institute. Lviv's national medical university is accredited at the IV level. LNMU is based on the Medical Faculty of Lviv University. It was inaugurated on November 16, 1784 under the auspices of Josef II. The Institute of Clinical Pathology and the Central Research Laboratory, (CRL), have 1211 scientists working: 134 Doctor of Science and over 620 Tekhnik Kandidaty.
