Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy was founded in 1916. With a foundation of over 100 years, the university is one of the leading universities in Ukraine.
The university holds Level IV accreditation, the highest level of accreditation of any university in Ukraine.
The university gained worldwide recognition through high-quality education. The university is duly recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and listed in WDOMS and other global accreditation.
The university is equipped with the most modern infrastructure. It has 8 educational infrastructures for teaching classes and conducting research on campus. The buildings also include medical laboratories equipped with modern research facilities.
For clinical training of students, DSMU has 42 well-equipped clinical departments in 28 hospitals in Dnipropetrovsk city. In these hospitals, students receive practical training to gain practical experience and become familiar with clinical work.
DSMU offers 6 years old MBBS in Ukraine at an affordable price. The university has over 600 highly qualified professors who train medical students enrolled in the university in English, Ukrainian and Russian. The university is known for its innovative teaching, clinical training, and research programs.
The university has been running training courses for foreign students since 1990. Presently more than 4,500 students are studying in the university. Including more than 700 students from 36 countries around the world. To date, DSMA has trained around 49,000 doctors in different countries across the world.
The degree awarded by the Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy is acceptable in any country. Therefore, students who have completed DSMA can practice in any country, provided they qualify for the medical entrance exam of the respective country. International students wishing to practice in India have to qualify for the MCI Screening Test. To practice in the United States, students must qualify for the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
In the university, students are encouraged to participate in various programs for their professional development. The university organizes events such as lectures, seminars, volunteer programs, and other research.

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS
To be admitted to the Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy MBBS program, the student must qualify for the NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate).
Apart from the NEET-UG, no additional entrance examination is required.
